I would like to welcome you to the town of Bösel’s webpages and introduce you to our community.

In these pages you will be able to learn about the many different aspects of Bösel; its politics, administration and economy as well as its local clubs, cultural and leisure activities. We invite you to come and find out more about family-friendly Bösel.
Bösel is a town with a long history and many traditions. Part of Bösel’s tradition is the north German dialect (niederdeutsch). It has been handed down to us since the early Middle Ages and is now part of our identity. Unfortunately, this language is now in danger of dying out. In order to make people aware of this danger, but also in order to acknowledge our links to this language, we offer some of the texts in the north German dialect.
